TIGTA Participates In AARP Fraud Watch Network ‘Slam The Scam’ Webcast

WASHINGTON - The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) is participating in a webcast hosted by theAARP Fraud Watch Networkto educate the public about fraud and scams related to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.

James Jackson, TIGTA’s Deputy Inspector General for Investigations, joins representatives from several other Federal agencies in the webcast, which can be viewed on AARP’s Fraud Watchwebsite. In addition to Mr. Jackson, representatives of the following Federal agencies are participating: the Department of Health and Human Services; the Social Security Administration; the U.S. Postal Inspection Service; the U.S. Census Bureau; the Department of Justice; the Federal Communication Commission; the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission.
