TIGTA Releases New Informational Brochure

WASHINGTON - The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) today announced the availability of a new informational brochure providing current information about the agency’s mission and activities.

Titled “TIGTA: Promoting Integrity in American’s Tax System,” the brochure provides information on TIGTA’s three major program offices: the Office of Audit; the Office of Investigations; and the Office of Inspections and Evaluations. Each section provides an overview of TIGTA’s oversight of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
