Administration of the Workers’ Compensation Program Claims Needs Improvement

The IRS Human Capital Officer should update the claims processing procedures to ensure that managers or Workers’ Compensation Branch personnel dispute the COP on Form CA-1 for claims filed more than 30 calendar days after the date of injury.
